ABS grab bar

Designed for commercial washrooms and hospitality projects, the XY32-28 wall-to-floor nylon grab bar adds secure, two-point support where users need it most—beside the toilet or shower. The textured nylon/ABS cover gives a warm, non-slip grip that’s comfortable in wet areas, while the internal metal core provides reliable strength for high-traffic facilities.

Coatings with antibacterial/antimicrobial performance are available for hygiene-critical sites such as hotels, hospitals and public venues. Nylon-coated rails are known for their “warm-to-the-touch” feel and enhanced grip versus bare metal, and leading nylon/polyamide brands use corrosion-protected steel or aluminum cores for long service life.

When sized and installed to code, grab bars are expected to follow ADA guidelines—circular bars 1.25–2.0 in (≈32–51 mm) diameter and able to withstand 250 lb (1112 N) in any direction—helping specifiers meet compliance across toilet and bathing rooms.
