Designed around safe grip and everyday hospital use, the XY 38 (38 mm) handrail offers a comfortable, code-friendly diameter that sits within the 1.25–2.0 inch ADA circular handrail range when installed correctly (38 mm ≈ 1.5 in).
Set the rail at the right height (34–38 in to the top of the gripping surface) with ≥1.5 in wall clearance for an ADA-friendly installation, subject to your local requirements.
